Pioneering the Neo-Soul movement in France with their unique blend of Afro and European Soul influences, Les Nubians have cemented their place as a legendary duo of the late 1990s and 2000s. The two founders and sisters, Helène and Célia Faussart, succesfully drew on the hypnotic grooves of soul luminaries such as Sade and Soul II Soul while bringing hip hop elements and african rhythms to their sound, landing them a grammy nomination for their second album.
